SASSA is going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regards to the large quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of here the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The assistance level created for intervention encounters a significant influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace sassa status to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all clients and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
